  • There's a bit of a debate going on online about whether digital sales matter for comics. My understanding is that they matter in the sense that you count them and include them in your profit calculations, but that digital sales hey don't matter in the sense that they represents such a small amount of total sales (maybe like 10% on average). is this somewhat correct?

    I genuinely don’t understand why there is any debate. We’ve spoken about this numerous times in the past.

    A digital sale is exactly the same as a tangible sale. No difference. It counts exactly as much, and digital sales are factored into the overall profitability of a title, just as collected edition sales are.
